Basketball Prospects and Parents
We are
encouraged by the number of players that are trying out for the
Hilton Select Basketball organization. We are evaluating each
and every player based on basketball skills, athleticism and
attitude. Unfortunately, not all the players trying out will
make one of our teams.
This is a
difficult process, but we encourage all players to continue to
develop their skills. The Hilton Parma Recreation Department
offers a basketball program that we recommend to all players
that do not make one of our teams. Everyone knows Michael Jordan
was cut from his high school team, and look what kind of player
he became! We realize he is the exception, but he is also a role
model in many ways.
Please keep in
mind that the Hilton Select Basketball organization was created
to help young basketball players develop their basketball skills
and knowledge and strive to play at the highest competitive
level.
